A Contemplative Community

Sojourners is a community organized around mutual prayer and life in the contemplative Christian tradition. Together, participants gather in small cohorts to learn, follow and encourage one another in these practices on a consistent basis for the purpose of inner transformation and compassionate service in the world.

What is a Contemplative Community?

Contemplative spirituality has lost its place in modern churches. Maybe it sounds like something reserved for monks and clerics. However, the contemplative Christian practices can help us connect more genuinely with our deepest self and in our most important connections with others.
